Tokyo Sumo Beya
Experience sumo in authentic sumo surroundings. Our Sumo stable is hallowed ground in the sumo world where the legendary and revered Yokozuna Kitanoumi served as stable master and personally trained his wrestlers. This is the only sumo show in Japan held inside an actual former sumo stable.
Discover the history and traditions of sumo from the ancient to the modern over a traditional sumo meal of Chanko nabe.
Demonstrations of the morning exercises, simulations of techniques and intense sumo competition. Then a chance to try sumo for up to 7 volunteers.
We take bookings on the day, but we're often fully booked so please inquire by email to check we have spaces available.

③ 15:00~16:30 Sumo Show ¥14000 → ¥13000
④ 19:00~21:00 Dinner + Sumo Show ¥17000 → ¥16000

Please note that if there are not enough people interested in the sumo experience, the event may end earlier than scheduled.
Please note that the chanko nabe will not be available during the ８am and 3pm show
We use chicken in our chanko nabe.
A vegan option is also available by letting our staff know on the day.
