Japanese Sumo Culture
Our Sumo stable is hallowed ground in the sumo world where the legendary and revered Yokozuna Kitanoumi served as stable master and personally trained his wrestlers.
While enjoying a delicious and traditional Sumo meal (Chankonabe), you will learn all about Sumo's rich history and traditions stretching all the way back to ancient times. You'll see demonstrations of the "morning exercises" and experience the intensity of real sumo matches. Then you can even try out sumo for yourself.
We take bookings on the day, but we're often fully booked so please inquire by email to check we have spaces available.

Please note that if there are not enough people interested in the sumo experience, the event may end earlier than scheduled.

Please note that chanko nabe will not be available during the 3pm show
We use chicken in our chankonabe.
A vegan option is also available by letting our staff know on the day.
